What is the market for feature phone traders?? What is the financial industry??
Hello everyone, nice to meet you. My name is Hayato Igarashi (Garake Trader). As the name suggests, I love feature phones and trade about 70% of my trades on a Garake. ● A兼業 trader who works as a sales manager in a corporate job while also handling FX trading on Garake ● Garake method: a hybrid investment method that combines day trading to swing trading and mid-to-long-term trading First, the reason I became a trader: I learned the market from my close friend and mentor who used to work at Nomura Securities. I started with scalping and day trading on the dollar-stroke, and have traded a variety of currency pairs. After trial and error with many trading approaches, now I trade day trading about one-third to one-half of the time, and since around the second Abe Shinzo administration, further evolving, developing, and refining the mid-to-long-term trading that my mentor first taught me, I now blend day trading, swing trading, and mid-to-long-term trading into a hybrid approach. For the traded currency pairs, currently for day trading to swing trading I mainly trade USD/JPY, EUR/JPY, and some dollar crosses; for swing to mid-to-long-term trading I trade USD/TRY, USD/ZAR, USD/BRL, EUR/RUB, GBP/PLN, etc. (AUD/JPY and NZD/JPY are also partially held). Occasionally I trade other currency pairs a few times per month. Also, as a global macro strategy, I invest in commodities, futures, ETFs, stock index CFDs, individual stocks, crude oil, gold, and Bitcoin. In particular, with commodities, futures, ETFs, and stock index CFDs, I use them as FX hedges. For those who are about to start FX

Hello everyone, how are you spending your weekend?


First of all, to everyone in Western Japan from Tokai to Kansai, Chugoku, Shikoku, and Kyushu, I extend my heartfelt condolences to those who lost their lives and to those who were affected by the historic heavy rains.


Today is Tanabata, a holiday, but unfortunately my feature phone was busy playing with work, and following the recent Osaka event, there was an earthquake in the Kanto region with a seismic intensity of lower 5.

Although it’s a holiday, today I plan to start FX (foreign exchange) trading. I have read a few introductory books, but I’m unsure what to do next or what preparations to make, so I’ll share one piece of advice in today’s blog.


① While looking at an FX introductory book, study FX by using FX demo trading on a PC. To learn FX, you need to read introductory books and study the basics of FX trading through PC-based FX demo trading.
