July 6 (Fri) US employment statistics (whack-a-mole) trade report
Hello everyone, there is still a little time left in New York time, but congratulations on a week of trading.
How did your trading results turn out?
Today was a feature of the flip phone era? and the beloved US employment statistics.
Before facing the beloved US employment statistics, we traded toward the仲値 (yen-dollar midpoint) time, which is the standard time for flip phones. Today is not a Godo day, so the仲値 trades were only shorts with a light position, but fortunately we were able to squeeze out a small gain.

Now, regarding today’s US employment statistics, Gara-kei, on the monthly routine of the US employment data,Yoshihiko TVI have been gratefully listening every month, and it has been very helpful.
A philanderer? Gara-kei is now listening to Gogojungle’sSuper Practical Employment Statistics LIVEon a dual screen while trading.

AndYoshihiko TVandSuper Practical Employment Statistics LIVEas we watched, we dove into the release of the US employment data. Non-Farm Payrolls came in at 213,000 vs. the 195,000 expected, and revised up from 223,000 to 244,000 for the previous month, which is positive + positive.
The United States is almost at full employment, but the unemployment rate was slightly worse at 4.0% versus 3.8% expected (3.7%), though the labor force participation rate expanded to 62.9% this time.
Regarding the average hourly wage, which has been watched since the year before last, expectations were +0.3% but actual was +0.2%, a slight negative. Overall, results were mildly positive to neutral.Based on the above indicators, if the release happens during the US employment statistics trade, there is a higher likelihood of a rise than a fall. With that strategy in mind, I approached the US employment statistics trade this month as well, just like last month’s live trade, using a buy rotation of 10 and a sell rotation of 0 across three accounts (my main and two sub-accounts) as if whacking moles in a game, and the trading resembled a money game. We ended up with a small net gain, though profits were modest even after knocking down all three accounts.
As usual, perhaps due to this year’s lucky omen being the great fortune, I am grateful for it, and since the start of the year the US employment statistics results are 7 trades with 6 wins.
Honestly, with Gara-kei’s current trading bio-rhythm, I cannot trade the US employment statistics without watching thatprogram, and in addition to that, listening to Gogojungle’sSuper Practical Employment Statistics LIVEas background music seems to bring me closer to victory, and even though the price range was narrow, I could trade in a rhythmic manner.

With London Fix approaching and there being a little time left in New York time, thank you for a week of trading.
Have a great weekend.
