June 22 (Thu): Nikkei 225 vs. US 10-year Treasury yield (Chat: My PC environment)
Good morning☀
Today is a talk about PCs.
I think we may have talked about this in the salon, but since then I haven’t talked about PCs at all, so I’ll introduce my PC setup here as well!
I’m not particularly knowledgeable about PCs, so briefly:
Main PC: GALLERIA XF (Dospara
Monitor: 27 inches × 4 (LG)
Secondary laptop: GALLERIA RL7C-R35H (Dospara)
This is about how I trade.
I don’t use the laptop much since I’m out a lot (I’m a homebody lol)
A common question during the salon era was
“Do you need multiple monitors to trade?”
Not necessarily. In fact, you can.
However, when you’re verifying and writing trading notes, having just two monitors makes a huge difference in efficiency.
But simply telling you to make it two monitors right away costs money, and since I hadn’t actually tried it, I understand you might be unsure about the benefits.
So my recommendation is
to try using a TV as a secondary monitor.
※The connection method varies by PC, but when you connect to a TV you can use two screens.
There is some cable cost, but (;^_^A?
My trading verification began with a two-monitor setup of PC and TV.
After that, once I started making a profit, I added one more monitor each time there was an Amazon sale, lol
During the salon era
“I’m the type who starts by the appearance, so I built a PC + 6-monitor environment!”
There were even such strong players?
Starting with the appearance is not a bad idea, either.
Because there’s no turning back once you start, right? lol
You might feel like you have to do it!
I’m not saying to build a high-spec PC environment!
However,
if you have an old PC that freezes when you want to make a payment, that would be a problem.
In this world, as long as you have Internet, you can do anything, and that’s not an overstatement.
Even if you quit trading, you’ll still use a PC.
So if you trade, you’d want at least a middle-class PC.
It varies by manufacturer, so I can’t say for sure, but roughly around 200,000 yen in budget?
Rather than buying strange products or books that promise “you’ll earn quickly!”
I believe investing in a good PC environment for self-improvement yields better efficiency.
Shall we continue with PC talk next time as well?
