May 15 (Mon): Nikkei 225 vs. Russell 2000 (Course: Where is the difference in growth rates?)
Good morning☔
The weather on weekends has been a bit disappointing as usual, but I accompanied my son at his baseball game all dayw
While guiding the kids, I have various thoughts about it…
① a child who earnestly tries to listen to everything
② a child who somewhat listens but soon does things their own way by making adjustments
③ a child who doesn’t listen at all
There are various types.
When they first joined the club,
“Oh, will this child be able to play in a game?”
There were anxious kids, but this child was type ①, who really tries to do things seriously.
After a year, they have become the top hitter in their grade?
On the other hand, in the same grade, there is a type ③ child who doesn’t listen at all,
and because they joined the club first, they have the arrogance of “I am the best!”…
Now they’re not able to perform well and seem confused…。
Of course, when guiding, I don’t just favor my own son, and
I teach the same things broadly to everyone, but growth rates vary.
Especially for type ① who tries to do everything seriously and type ③ who doesn’t listen at all…
A very big difference is appearing here?
That’s why
“Listen!”
“Do what you’re told!”
but kids won’t always do it.
It’s not that type ③ who doesn’t listen at all is absolutely bad!
If they don’t listen, I’d like them to clarify what they want to aim for.
Even if you tell them to swing like Hideki Matsui,
“I don’t want to because I want to swing like Ichiro!”
If there’s a child who says that, I think that’s fine.
Because they want to do it more easily for themselves.
Because they act selfishly.
Especially not thinking about anything.
Children like this honestly give the team a hard time?
In my salon teaching days,
the salon host proposed one method.
But in the salon’s Discord
“This is my way!”
“Do this and you’ll earn more!”
“Add this indicator and your accuracy will improve!”
and it was all about adapting things.
We won’t stifle kids who have a future and potential, but adults should first“Shu-ha-ri”be practiced, shouldn’t they?
The talk about“Shu-ha-ri”

Most people who participate in the salon are
“Because I’m not continuing to earn, I participate”people are the majority.
I don’t think those people can simply rearrange and earn money.
Isn’t it more about first absorbing what is presented into oneself?
So this week too
I will start by looking at the declining market’s canary in the coal mine, the Russell 2000
to see what’s ahead.
Will a crash come?
Always look at the charts objectively and avoid confirmation bias that only gathers information favorable to your position.
