April 26 (Wed): Nikkei 225 vs USD/JPY (Course: Currency exchange during overseas travel)

Today, I think I’ll take a look at USD/JPY.

Without further ado, are there any of you planning to travel abroad during Golden Week?

From around 150 yen per dollar, it has become stronger for the yen, so

I wonder if the currency exchange feels a bit more advantageous?

And for those who already know a higher level of yen appreciation, it’s still yen depreciation, isn’t it?

Where do you all exchange money?

Surely not at the airport or a bank, right?

If it is, you’re missing out quite a bit, you know?

I exchanged dollars when it was around 100–110 yen per dollar, and I still hold them because I’ll use them in the future.

Also, if it reaches that level of yen appreciation, I might increase my dollar holdings as well?

It doesn’t seem like I’ll be traveling abroad slowly until my child is a bit older, though?

I want to go to Hawaii??
