Now, during salon hours, I used to explain the pound-dollar almost every day.

Since there are requests, I only look at it occasionally, but personally I don’t like the pound very much?

When I started FX, even the USD/JPY employment data moved by hundreds of pips.

The pound, which moves about three times that much,was also called the “murder currency.”so

“Novices should absolutely not touch this currency pair!”

was said as well.

Nowadays it may seem a bit exaggerated, but

it’s true that volatility was large, so not touching it was the right choice, I think.

Because of that image, I’m not eager to trade it.

Rather, I somehow like more familiar instruments like the Nikkei 225 and USD/JPY, I guess?

It doesn’t mean I’m telling you not to touch the pound!

If you happen to trade something you somewhat like, your performance can improve as well?

Even now, it seems all instruments have little volatility, but they can start moving suddenly again, so for the instruments you trade, make sure to thoroughly review and verify past charts.

Even the Nikkei 225, which is said not to move much, had quite a number of people panicking and incurring heavy losses during the COVID-19 crash.

I think a crash is coming soon...
