Good morning☀
Today is Setsubun??
Did you know?
It seems that Mr. “Watanabe” doesn’t have to do the bean-throwing ritual, heh.
He is the forefather of Mr. Watanabe, the leader of the so-called “Raiō Shitennō,” and known for legends of slaying demons such as the oni Shuten-dōji who lived on Mount Oe in Kyoto, and his son Oni-tōmaru, as well as cutting off the arm of the oni in Rashōmon. It’s said that such a “Mr. Watanabe” family attracts and repels demons.
Therefore,”There is no need to chase away demons with bean-throwing”which has become a saying.
