December 22 (Thu): Nikkei 225 (Free viewing item: indicators are like training wheels)
Good morning☀
Today is the winter solstice⛄
From now on it seems to be getting colder and colder, doesn’t it?
Please take care of colds during the year-end and New Year holidays?
Yesterday I talked about ATR.
How many indicators are displayed on your charts?
If you were to use ATR, there would be Bollinger Bands, MACD, Stochastics, and so on…
That’s already four… (If you display ±1~3σ, there might be three just for Bollinger Bands?)
In the free version of TradingView there is a limit on the number of indicators you can display (up to 3), so you can’t display them all, right?
I don’t like cluttered charts with too many indicators?
I actually think it’s fine if you don’t have any indicators at all.
But that wasn’t always the case; of course I used indicators to trade and earn money.
Indicators are convenient, so I tend to focus on them. But what’s important is the chart.
Therefore…
Think of indicators as a bicycletraining wheels?as a supporting position.
In time, you’ll be able to trade successfully even without any indicators.
Right now there may be many indicators, but if you think you don’t need them, just remove them gradually.
I’m currently explaining Bollinger Bands, but in my normal trading I don’t use indicators.
Even so, I can trade without stop losses.
Adding indicators is for beginners.
Reducing indicators is for intermediates.
Being able to earn without indicators is for advanced traders.
※I welcome objections (laugh) It’s just my personal image, lol
Adding indicators increases accuracy!
There are products that say so, but that’s a huge misunderstanding?
Indicators are training wheels? What do you expect to do with so many training wheels?
However, using useful indicators in abundance is fine, you know?
For example, when you enter, the P&L in pips is displayed.
I like and find these kinds of features convenient, so I use them!
There are many convenient indicators available in MT4.
I’d like to introduce them again next time?
