December 7 (Wed): Nikkei 225 (Free viewing item: PC environment)

It really has gotten cold, hasn't it～⛄

I love winter, so I’m not bothered at all, you know?

When it snows, I’m excited with my son about building a big Kamakura (snow statue) together haha

Today about PC setup.

One question I sometimes get is

“Is it better to have multiple PC monitors?”

Indeed, having multiple displays drastically improves workflow efficiency.

So I do recommend it, but it can be financially burdensome, so you don’t have to do it right away.

My current PC setup is four monitors on a BTO PC.

※Most people who ask tend to have the impression that “having four is better…” and “multimonitor = four displays.”

However,I didn’t have them from the start?‍♂️

At first, it was an ordinary old PC that couldn’t drive multiple monitors.

Then I bought the cables to enable multi-monitor support and connected them to a small 19-inch tabletop TV.

Turn on the PC… turn on the TV…

And built a not-so-pretty multi-monitor setup!!! What kind of setup is this? (lol)

Even with such a setup, in my first multi-monitor experience,

the workflow efficiency increased dramatically and I was impressed?

After accumulating around 200,000 in trading profits, I bought a BTO PC capable of four monitors plus one 27-inch monitor (total 5 screens including the TV)…

Then, as profits grew, I purchased one more monitor each time there was a sale on Amazon.

TV + 2 more… (three screens side by side lol)

TV + 3 more… (screens finally in a vertical arrangement! ? I even bought a pole lol)

Finally, four monitors of the same size!!! haha

That’s roughly how the setup was finally completed?

Once you experience multi-monitor, you can’t go back to single-monitor again lol

It’s so convenient that it’s also dangerous in a way (lol)

7 monitors…

8 monitors…

Please be careful not to go overboard, okay?

※ As a salon instructor, I’ve heard reports from beginners who said

“I bought 8 displays for PC + monitors!”

before.

Honestly, I was shocked www; extremely impressive?
