Below is the translation in English. Please read it.
Not only governments at the national and local levels, but also countless private companies have drawn media attention by conducting investigations into blockchain or by announcing at least an interest in it. Of course, the most infamous example of this was when Long Island Iced Tea Corp. renamed itself Long Island Blockchain Corp.
On February 28, 2018, the Kenyan government appointed a task force and instructed it to examine the use of distributed ledger technology and artificial intelligence over a three-month period. Led by Dr. Bitange Ndemo, the eleven-member task force spent three months drafting a roadmap, detailing how these technologies could be applied at the local level.
The task force includes Steve Chege, head of the corporate affairs department at Safaricom, John Gitou, Michael Onyango, Dr. Charity Wayua, Fred Michuki, and Juliana Rotich, serial entrepreneur and co-founder of BRCK and Ushahidi.
