One person / Single person

Series: The Heart of the Market, The Essence of Trading, Part 32

Once you enter, you cannot leave, what is it, I wonder?
The answer is “kotatsu” (heated table).
Even though kotatsu, once a symbol of winter home life, seems to have fallen in numbers, there are reports that kotatsu for one person are increasing in shipments.
With the times, various things change.
But the market and trading have always been, and still are, a “one-person” world, right?
The place for information exchange has moved from the securities firm counters to the Internet, and if you make money, it’s yours, and if you incur losses, you bear them yourself…
Also, creating the environment is a matter of the one-person’s decision.
People who study seriously all say, “ultimately it’s the mental (state),” but if you suddenly raise the mental issue, it won’t be well-received, and investors won’t flock unless there’s a scent of “immediate profit.”
These are concerns, but I’m thinking I’d like to do another mental training course for trading again.
This year, I conducted a six-month course on the middle line (Chūgen-sen), and by strongly incorporating a mental module into the curriculum, I became confident.
However, there is one misunderstanding that many people have.
Things like “unwavering spirit” or “fight hard” can’t go on forever, so the biggest mental challenge is how to think more easily and how to reduce worries.
Even phrases like “not being driven by greed” may not work.
“What to do to realize the desire”
“What is the safest and shortest route to turn desire into results?”
If you don’t think about it this way, there’s no other path, I believe.
“The grand plan for a year starts on New Year's Day”
As you mark the year-end and New Year, first set your goals and freely imagine “what you want to become.”
Thinking about the mental aspect is the first step.
