Rank Correlation Technical for Viewing the Three Trend Elements
Aroon is a technical indicator developed by Dr. Tushar Chandé, whose name in Sanskrit means “the light of dawn,” and was created as part of a trading system. It was originally called “Chande’s Aroon,” but nowadays is commonly simply called Aroon. Dr. Chandé developed many indicators besides Aroon, but Aroon stands out as a relatively small family of rank-correlation-type technical indicators. When people think of rank-correlation indicators, many may have only used RCI, but Aroon is a versatile indicator that helps determine the presence of a trend, its direction, and its strength.
