When you watch comedian’s gags

“I didn’t understand the meaning, but I laughed anyway.”

Maybe you’ve experienced something like this?





Recently, I watched a YouTube video titled

while watching. In it,

a word kept being repeated.



When you hear the word alone,

it doesn’t seem that funny,

but when you hear it in the video,it’s actually quite funny.



Laughter is a mysterious thing, isn’t it?



Ultimately, more than what is being said, it’s the timing, the atmosphere, the voice,

that can determine the joke.

It’s huge. I suppose that’s the case.



Of course, what you say is important, but

even if you tell the same story

just changing the way you say it can make it very funny or not funny at all.





According to the famous“Mehrabian’s Rule,”

the conveyance of linguistic information is

only 7% of the meaning of words and content,

but I truly think that’s true.
