FX and People|Vol.5 Crab Trader
While we tend to be drawn to fundamental and technical analyses, automated trading, and system trading, the essence of FX lies in price movements born from the interactions between people. Analysis and methods do not move the market. Any market is moved by countless people. In this series, we will thoroughly zoom in on the "people" in FX. The fifth guest is the Kanitrader, a very popular YouTuber-type FX trader. From mistakes in his beginner days to why he continues YouTube broadcasting now, and the mindset needed to turn 10,000 yen into 100 million yen, he shared.
Kanitrader Profile
He streams his daily trades on YouTube Live, turning 3 million yen into 10 million yen, and in 2020 he continued daily from 22:45 with his face shown and live commentary. He streams with the theme of 【Helping viewers win】 and a 【healthy FX channel】.

Read more books than online information
——Why did you start FX?
The trigger was a recommendation from a friend in a certain online business. Before that, I had experience with stocks and futures. I was taught software that shows buy/sell signals on charts. Looking back now, I’m not sure whether that person truly wanted to introduce FX or simply have you click an affiliate link (laughs).
——What was your impression of FX in the early days?
Honestly, I thought it was dangerous. At that time, leverage could be applied hundreds of times, so I viewed it as a high-risk, high-return investment. Still, I was motivated. Fear was outweighed by excitement and anticipation.
——What kind of study have you done so far?
I read a lot of books. I searched Amazon for “FX books,” visited large bookstores, and read well over 100 FX-related books. Here’s a personal note: I think online articles are less trustworthy. Anyone can write anything on the web, but publishing a book is a big undertaking. Being someone who runs an online business, I have my doubts about online content. I’ve always loved reading, to begin with.
——Are there any books that left a particularly strong impression?
