【Fujitomi】Tokyo Rubber falls sharply again
(Tokyo Rubber)
On the 30th, Tokyo Rubber saw a significant continuous decline, focusing on near-term futures. As of 11:00, the front-month November contract was down 6.0 yen from the previous day at 207.0 yen.
The near-term contract has been showing a continued sharp drop. After 10:00, the front-month dipped below 210 yen, triggering stop-loss selling and widening the decline. Domestic rubber inventories remain tight, but since buying is mainly for the current period, the low inventory level did not become supportive material. The current contract fell below 250 yen, but considering the spread, it should still be viewed as not yet bottomed. The front-month shows no sign of a rebound as of yet, and it is worth noting the possibility of testing 200 yen as it stands. With an ongoing production expansion phase, selling stance remains prudent in the future.
