Cryptocurrency Market Analysis [October 19 Issue]
Bitcoin has shifted to slightly up at around 1,220,000 yen from last week's 1,200,000 yen.
Bitcoin is trading at a slightly higher 1,220,000 yen.
Bitcoin daily chart
Two weeks ago there was a resistance line at 1,150,000 yen.
It was broken upward, and after that it dipped once to that line
before rebounding
and again surpassed 1,200,000 yen.
With this movement, the range break has become an
uptrend.
The next target on the chart is
around 1,270,000 yen.
Bitcoin has, since the week before last,
・BitMEXCEOarrest
・Trump's COVID-19 diagnosis
・OKEXexecutives arrested
such negative news have continued in the industry,
but it seems no longer relevant as the price shows strong momentum.
[Possibility of Binance arrest]
This time, BitMEX,OKEXhave been arrested in succession.
If arrested
・BitMEX... due to large transfers of Bitcoin, funds leave the exchange
but operations continue
・OKEX... deposit/withdrawal stops at the exchange.
Thus,OKEXis a Chinese company, and
all eyes are on how the government will respond.
Exchanges can stop deposits and withdrawals easily like this,
so exchanges related to China give a scary impression.
On the other hand, the world’s largest exchange
Binance, which is what I’m concerned about
Binance is currently located in the Republic of Malta.
Normally, it would be regulated by that country, but for BitMEX
even though it lists an address in Hong Kong,
the U.S. government has issued warrants for arresting Americans for operating without a license.
The CEOis currently on the run.
This is where America shows its strength.
What will happen to Binance in the future
is something to watch, but regarding exchange deposits and withdrawals, there isn’t a Chinese domestic restriction, so it should be okay,
but some people have moved funds out of Binance considering the future.
Binance is currently the most convenient exchange in the world.
• Promising coins
• Lending services
•DeFi services
•IEO
and many other services it provides.
Binance, more than BitMEX or
OKEX, has a greater impact in my opinion.
That said, even if Binance’s CEO is arrested temporarily and the crypto market dips,
it may not be a long-term effect.
Even with such unlicensed operations, whether an exchange provides good service to its customers
depends not only on licensing.
Even if unlicensed, Binance has earned users’ trust.
This can be said about Binance as well.
[Former ZOZO founder Tomosaku Maezawa enters digital payments]
Tomosaku Maezawa, founder of Zozotown, will start a digital settlement business.
Among the members are executives from domestic cryptocurrency exchanges, but in reality
the CTO of DeCurret, Shirai Ishii-san, seems to be involved.
DeCurret is a domestic exchange that, while not yet highly known,
has participation from major companies like JR East Japan and Nippon Life.

DeCurret is not only about cryptocurrency trading but also focuses on the practicality of settlements and other use cases.
It gives the impression of an exchange focused on practical applications beyond trading.
However, Maezawa’s business is also digital payments.
I doubt it’s non-electronic money, and there will be overlaps with exchanges handling cryptocurrencies, but I wonder what kind of business it will become.
If they speak of an independent currency zone,
the likelihood of it being a cryptocurrency is high, perhaps.
Regarding an independent currency zone, currently
Rakuten has plans to issue Rakuten Coin in the future.

【The Graph token sale】
The Graph is a project that has already been used on Uniswap
and CoinGecko, and has conducted a token sale.
As an already proven project, investors are paying attention.
The Graph is a protocol that organizes blockchain data so that it can be accessed easily.
It’s like Google on the internet.
In the token sale, one can participate with
a minimum of 1,000 to 5,000 dollars,
but already 65% of the tokens have been allocated,
so rather than a large price increase, it is expected to be stable.
I also plan to participate, but with a long-term hold perspective.

【FLOW receipt address
protocol】
For those who participated in the FLOW token sale,
by October 26 you must input the address for token distribution in CoinList.
In my case, it looks like a Ledger wallet.
FLOW is an NFT token that already has many partners, includingNBA
and others.
More details will come later.

【G20 cryptocurrency tax regime】
G20 leaders’ summit
Cryptocurrency tax regime proposals are as follows.
i.
ii.
iii.
This is largely the same as what cryptocurrency associations have proposed from the start.
Among these, I personally think exchanging between cryptocurrencies should be non-taxable.
