What is Technical Analysis?
Technical analysis uses charts to read the thoughts and intentions of market participants from past price movements. I focus mainly on “key levels” and “timing” in my analyses. Key levels and timing may look similar, but I consider them separate things.
Key levels refer to the vertical axis of the chart, showing price and price range, while timing refers to the horizontal axis, representing time and duration. While many people pay attention to price and ranges on the vertical axis, I believe it is important to view them together with time on the horizontal axis.
This time, I will introduce the technical analysis tools I use and explain what I read from them. By the way, technical analysis and fundamental analysis are not separate things; it is important to view them together, and I would like to cover this in a future opportunity.
Trading Using 7 Tools!
The tools I use in technical analysis are vertical lines, horizontal lines, trend lines, parallel channels, Fibonacci retracements, moving averages, and RSI.
