This month’s second half has an ICO (crowdsale) scheduled for the Golem Project (Golem Project). I’ve translated the official website into English (excluding a portion) and will introduce it here.

Golem is like a “distributed computing processing network,” where people sell and buy unused PC computing resources. For example, it could distribute and streamline rendering tasks for CG that would take about a month, and that’s as far as I understood, but reading the official information broadened my understanding a bit more.

01 Inspiration

The “Golem Project” is a new paradigm of the Internet.

Our aim is to perform tasks that are currently done by servers, computing farms, and supercomputers using any PC.

Ultimately, the “Golem Network” will become a truly distributed web, with each user’s machine providing all the hardware resources required by the tasks.
