Car navigation uses GPS location information as the basis for navigation


However, GPS is linked to information from satellites and a single car on Earth, and there are bound to be errors.


To account for errors in position information from satellites and to advance the navigation by predicting the true route,


the car navigation system is equipped with a Kalman filter.




Kalman Filter


It draws while predicting the next route from a moving average. Is the prediction upward or downward? It is distinguished by color.

The filter is a bit overapplied, so to speak,


the color change can be interpreted as slow to react,
