All trades last week were sells and all were stopped out, three consecutive losses in a row. Total 28 wins, 28 losses, +840 pips.

■ Drawdown reveals strength

Even if July looks poor, the total is a good win. When you have a losing streak, you tend to focus only on that part, but look at the whole forest, not just the tree.

In that sense, Asapon's EA is progressing through an expected drawdown.

During drawdowns or losing streaks, the true value of the operation and the trader is tested. Experience and mindset matter.

Just as I run Asapon and Dollar Lego in parallel, it is also effective to run different types of logic simultaneously.

Know the maximum consecutive losses for the past several years, and until you exceed that number, you can safely ignore it.

Furthermore, once you exceed the maximum drawdown, think through concrete responses in advance so you won't panic when it happens.

If the backtest maximum consecutive losses is 9, plan something like, "If 10 consecutive losses occur, halve the lot temporarily."

■Dollar Lego

Last week was 1 win and 4 losses, totaling 31 wins to 104 losses, +510 pips.

I feel like I took profit on Monday and then everything else was stopped out and lost, but overall I still win. Weekly it’s +10 pips.

■Turkish Lira/Yen dormant account

After the Turkish lira/yen plunge, it rebounded on July 31.

Everyone’s FX Turkish Lira Yen swap is 15 yen. I can only say, go for it.

Winner of the official tournament “EA-1 Grand Prix” hosted by domestic securities company FOREX EXCHANGE
