I’m undecided about the entry postponement filter [Kisato Yū]
■Asapon
【Asapon (Pound-Yen Heikin-Ashi Reversal Morning Method)】
- Currency pair is GBP/JPY
- Enter in the morning
- Use Heikin-Ashi
- Profit-taking and stop-loss are fixed as OCO
- Sorry! The detailed rules are confidential
■17 and a half years of backtest results
The position sold on July 15 finally hit the stop-loss on July 20.
It was a long battle.
July 20 (Mon)
No trading in the morning due to holding a position
July 21 (Tue)
Trend was weak, no entry
July 22 (Wed)
Sell → X
July 23 (Thu)
Trend was weak, no entry
July 24 (Fri)
Trend was weak, no entry
So far, two losses since the previous article, but a total of 28 wins and 25 losses for +1020 pips, which is excellent!
■ About the Entry Filter
In recent weeks, I have skipped entries when the trend momentum was weak.
Having this condition improves trading performance a bit, but drastically reduces the number of entries. If you don’t trade frequently, performance doesn’t stabilize (converge).
I’m considering whether to continue or drop this rule in the future.
■ Dollar-Yen (USD/JPY)
【Dollar-Yen (tight stop-out, small loss, large gain trading)】
- Currency pair is USD/JPY
- Enter in the morning
- Use Heikin-Ashi
- Profit target is 50 pips, stop loss is 10 pips fixed as OCO
- Sorry! The detailed rules are confidential
■ Ten years of backtest results
This remains favorable; last week was 1 win and 2 losses. Total is 30 wins, 100 losses, +500 pips.
With 130 trades, stability is emerging.
■ Turkish Lira/Yen Idle Course
On Friday, July 24, the Turkish Lira/Yen dropped sharply.
When rates fall, received swaps may also decrease, and as I hold 170,000 units of USD equivalent, it’s a time to endure.
I will patiently wait for rates and swaps to rise.
■ Bonus
Recently I went to Kamakura and met a "Nagomi Jizo" who I instantly fell in love with. Very cute.
Even if FX loses, even if drawdown occurs temporarily, or if the execution rate slips a bit, I would like to be like this ♪
