Multiple Currency Harmonic Monitoring Indicator Beta Version Release
We have released a beta version of an indicator that can monitor multi-currency harmonic conditions at a glance.
Download is available from FX-ON.
If you encounter any issues, please contact the FX-ON community.
Free beta version available until 2017/5/20
Multi-currency Harmonic Monitoring Indicator (Beta)
Trial versions of related indicators are also popular and publicly available.
Fractal Band (Trend Line)
Fractal Band Trial (until ~2017/5/12)
Harmonic Pattern Detection Indicator
Trial Harmonic Pattern Detection Indicator (until ~2017/5/5)
2017/05/02 16:09 Harmonic Status

The harmonic occurrence status for each currency pair and time frame can be understood at a glance.
Occurrence pattern (number of bars since occurrence) Pre-buy candidate # Pre-sell candidate #
are displayed in that order.
If you find a harmonic of interest, you can double-click the grid to call a chart with a predefined chart type.
In addition, alerts can be sent when a harmonic occurs.
As a test, I took positions on AUDUSD and USDJPY with smaller lot sizes than usual.
■AUDUSD M15
Long shark, with moving average divergence rate touching 2σ as the basis.
(Also lightly considering the lower bound break of fractal band)

I thought it might be just right for a pullback entry.
■USDJPY M30
Short triple drive and exceeding the upper trend line as the basis

Since the divergence rate is in a downtrend and breaking upward, it might have been a bit early.
It might have been better to confirm the start of the downtrend in divergence rate... A bit of reflection.
I would like to publish articles on trading methods, including backtesting verifications, and am steadily working on it.
For now, among what I’ve written so far, here is what the backtest results look like.
■ Harmonic + RCI
Judgments are slow. Too many misses, and harmonic alone loses out.
■ Harmonic + RSI
Better to trade with harmonic alone.
■ Harmonic + candlestick price action
Too few trading opportunities.
■ Harmonic + divergence rate
Divergence rate judgment is difficult to program.
■ Harmonic + fractal band
To the human eye, it’s clear whether it follows the fractal band, but the program finds it very hard to judge...
■ Harmonic + trend judgment via fractal
Surprisingly not bad. Trend judgment on daily and weekly timeframes is particularly effective.
That’s the situation.
As price action is involved, the simplest fractal with a fixed delay of two bars can be effectively used as an EA or as a trading method, so I’d like to produce verifiable material that I can share with everyone.
Please give me a little more time, including requests from many of you for an EA based on harmonics.
Methods for when it becomes an EA will be released publicly.
Discretionary trading mainly settles on harmonic + fractal band + divergence rate + fractal-based trend judgment.
