Ryuji Satou. Born 1968. After graduating from a U.S. university in 1993, he joined a financial information vendor providing macroeconomic analysis and analyst reports on currencies, commodities, and stock markets, at Genesis Corporation (later Oval Next). He writes macroeconomic analyses and trader reports, and engages in trading. In 2010 he founded H-Square Co., Ltd., writing analyst reports and planning/publishing works such as the FOREX NOTE Currency Handbook, while also serving as a radio host related to investments. Is this the final stage of the short-term rise?
The explosion in palladium shows no signs of stopping. In just over 10 trading days since the start of the year, it has already risen 26% from the beginning of the year. The spot price in U.S. dollars surged to as high as $2,543, and in the futures precious metals market (gold, silver, platinum, palladium) it hit an all-time high. In the January 2020 issue, I wrote that it would aim for $2,000 in the long term, but I did not expect it to surpass $2,500 by the time of writing the April issue.
