■ What is TDI?

According to developer Dean Malone, TDI is not for scalping on 1-minute or 5-minute charts, but is more effective for swing trading using 4-hour, daily, or weekly charts.

・Exotic Custom TDI

Exotic Custom TDI applies noise reduction to each line, allowing for a smoother TDI than other TDIs. It is easier to read line crosses and Bollinger Band breaks, which is a major feature. The crosses and Bollinger Band breaks are easier to see and use, which is the big advantage.

■ Custom filter to select high-probability crosses

Exotic TDI enables a parameter called “Custom Filter” to be set to “On” (default is On). When RSI Price Line (green) and RSI Signal Line (red) cross, if the filter criteria are met, a signal is displayed.

By adjusting “Custom Filter Sensitivity 1” and “Custom Filter Sensitivity 2,” you can customize the filter criteria to suit your own strategy and select crosses with an edge. If you set “Custom Filter” to “Off,” signals are displayed for all crosses.
