We will test two new methods in 2020! [Yu Kuri]
Happy New Year.
This year, I want to share even more interesting things, so I appreciate your continued support.
The series took a one-week break, but I did trade, of course.

This main method has 2 wins and 2 losses, feeling good.
Total up to now: 12 trades, 5 wins, 7 losses, −50 pips. Drawdown once reached −170 pips, but has rallied back.
With 2 consecutive wins, moving into positive territory in a tight USD/JPY small-loss big-profit trade
【Tight USD/JPY Small-Loss, Big-Profit Trade】
- Currency pair: USD/JPY
- Entry in the morning
- Using Heiken-Ashi
- Profit target is 50 pips, stop loss is 10 pips, OCO fixed
- Sorry! I’ll keep the fine details of the rules secret
■ Ten years and almost a decade of backtesting results
Last week, it was 2 wins and 1 loss like this.
Overall, 10 trades, 2 wins, 8 losses for +20 pips!
With this week's two consecutive wins, I notably turned positive.
By the way, when comparing main trading with this USD/JPY trade, the USD/JPY trade has a higher PF (Profit Factor: total profit divided by total loss; greater than 1 is positive) and a smaller drawdown.
However, I personally wasn't confident about continuing a highly risk-reward ratio of 5 with ultra-small profit and large loss (breakdowns could break my resolve), and since it was uncharted territory, I tried it as a sub-trade experimentally.
Bonus
At the beginning of the year, I visited Asakusa.
Including SkyTree, it made for a nice shot. The weather was great and perfect for street stalls ♪
