Streak resistance is quite strong

Even looking at backtest results, the maximum losing streak in the past 18 years is 10 in a row. So depending on when you start, you should expect this kind of unlucky streak and keep trading. Thanks to coin toss trading, I’ve built up endurance to losing streaks.

If you think you might face about 10 consecutive losses, versus having only a vague image of it, that’s a huge difference. The role of backtesting is significant.

Second trade: tight stop, small losses, big gains

Another trading method will be pursued. This one has a risk-reward ratio of 5, a high-win, low-win single-trade approach regardless of win rate.

A trade with ultra-small loss, big gain in one trade. Since the win rate is low, I expect some losing streaks, but overall it should be positive.

But last week I had 5 losses in a row (laughs).

With a maximum of only 10 cents to the loss cutoff, I expected it to hit stop-loss quickly, but it takes longer than expected. I’d been doing fast GBPJPY, so it was a reminder of USDJPY’s more relaxed pace after a long time.

We will also operate the Turkish Lira!
