About the Series
Among the readers of this magazine, there are likely people who want to accumulate enough savings, at least 20 million yen, to cover pension shortfalls in retirement. There may even be ambitions to become a billionaire trader! Of course, methods to grow assets over decades differ from methods to become a billionaire trader overnight (if possible). Joking aside, the upcoming series aims to provide content useful for readers’ investment activities.
The content will be split into a front half and back half. In the front, I will write about recent markets. Since this is a monthly magazine, it covers market highlights on roughly a one-month time scale, recent market movements, fundamental trends, and the surrounding environment—i.e., timely topics. Here, I will include my market views and impressions about the market. I will write about a wide range of markets, including FX, bonds, and stocks.
In the latter half, I would like to focus on methodological aspects of investing. I will deliver knowledge on technical analysis, market anomalies, and characteristics of the market. While the front half covers timely topics, the back half will focus on knowledge and methodologies that can be used for years to come. Everyone, let’s study investing together.
