300万 yen Loss During Lehman Shock
Hello everyone, my name is Kazuo Sato. I engage in swap-point-focused investments in USD/JPY and MXN/JPY, as well as automated trading. I write about how to trade and settings on my blog as a living.
I left the company I had been working for this past July, so I am in what you could call semi-retirement. I will share my experience of the “historical shock.”
The biggest losing blow was during the August 2018 Turkish shock, where I cut the Turkish lira/yen and incurred a loss of 16 million yen. However, the most shocking historical event was the Lehman Shock, which caused a loss of 3 million yen. I’m always on the losing side, right? (laughs) Even those who just started FX recently may have heard of this name. It’s that famous a event.
