We’ll disclose what I’m planning to do after the coin toss [Yuri Kizato?]
Coin Toss Trade November 25 (Mon) - November 29 (Fri) Results Announcement
【Verification Rules】Coin Toss Trade
■Currency Pair: GBP/JPY
■Trading Rules:
- If heads comes up, buy; if tails comes up, sell
- Take profit at +60 pips, stop loss at −50 pips with an OCO settlement
- Entry around 15:00–16:00
I also lost a lot in last week's coin toss (sweat).
I've been off for about the last month, but if this were the early days of starting Coin Toss Trade, I might have wondered, “Is this method okay?” and might have given up. There’s a possibility I wouldn’t have continued this far.
How many verifications are needed to confirm the method’s validity? Verification is absolutely necessary, but when it comes to forward testing, it requires investing valuable time, so balancing that is difficult.
November 25 (Mon)
Buy → O
November 26 (Tue)
Sell → X
November 27 (Wed)
Sell → X
November 28 (Thu)
Buy → X
November 29 (Fri)
Buy → This position carried over to the following week
Coin Toss Trade overall results: 93 wins, 99 losses, +630 pips. Buy 93 times, sell 100 times. Personally, a sufficiently good performance.
I’m spaced out and not trading, but the method seems excellent
【23:00 Heikin-Ashi Trading】
【Trading Rules】23:00 Heikin-Ashi Trading
■Currency Pair: EUR/USD
■Timeframe: 1-hour chart
■Trading Rules:
- Open EUR/USD chart at 23:00 and enter only if the 1-hour Heikin-Ashi candle in the 22:00 hour has reversed
- Bearish candle → bullish candle means buy; bullish candle → bearish candle means sell
- Take profit at +100 pips, stop loss at −50 pips with an OCO settlement
- Maximum one long and one short position each; do not hold multiple positions in the same direction
■Backtest results for the past two years show a clean, upward trend
I’m still stubbornly holding the new buy opened on November 14.
On November 27 I once again got lost in something else and forgot the time. I would have entered a short at 23:00.
This week I’m missing out on two opportunities that would have likely yielded profits. It would have worked out if I had entered.
I’ve made mistakes, but the method appears to be excellent.
About the next method I will try
The next method after Coin Toss Trade is already decided.
【Option 1】 A method with 8 years of backtest data showing a continuous upward trend.
【Option 2】 A method with only 10 years of backtest data, but the results in that period are also upward trending.
Additionally, I want to start with a small amount of capital and use compounding gains from swaps to grow. I’d like to trade with a focus on capital efficiency, not just waiting for swaps.
The candidate method is already decided, and I’m currently studying and simulating it.
Extras
During such study and simulation, I went to Yoghurino ITALY, a place I wanted to visit. Still excellent yogurt.
