When and at what timing can you download?
The TradeStation site only has descriptions for Japanese stocks
, but isn’t it possible to trade US stocks as well?
This is what we will introduce.
＜When and where can you download Treste?＞
In FX, with MT4, you can download even before opening an account
with FX brokers or securities companies.
If you go to the FX provider’s site, downloading is easy.
In the case of Treste, that isn’t necessarily so…
Rakuten Securities’ Market Speed can be downloaded without logging in.
Matsui Securities seems to require login.
So, what about TradeStation? If you ask,
TradeStation usage account completion then
download becomes available.
After the required documents reach the other party, within a day or two,
you should monitor the timing and log in to Monex Securities’ WEB to confirm whether it is downloadable.
(There is no postal or email notification)
Download is on Monex Securities’ WEB after logging in,
from the top of the site, menu list
click “Investment Information” - “Tools”
.
Then, a Tools List will be displayed, and at the bottom of that list,
you’ll find an option labeled TradeStation.
Here, by checking PDFs such as rules and terms, downloading becomes
possible.
If this Tools List does not show TradeStation, it means downloading is not yet available.

And with that, the discussion on Japanese stock TradeStation ends here.Personally, I had a nagging question:
“Doesn’t TradeStation allow trading US stocks as well?”
“Isn’t that possible?”
I learned this time that
TradeStation actually exists in two versions: one for Japanese stocks and one for US stocks.
This is the fact.
Well, the party you place orders with may be different, so
it may not be entirely simple…
In any case, for trading US stocks, you must download and install US stock version of TradeStation.
Until you know this, on TradeStation’s site, I thought “US stocks are missing” in the listed instruments,
but it seems there was background like above.
Also, on Treste’s site, it would be kinder if there was a note like, “For US stocks…”.
What do you think, Monex?
Because overlooking potential US stock-using users could be a cause, or at least it could lead to confusion.
For US stocks, TradeStation can be downloaded and used if you have a Monex Securities account.
If you have opened a Monex Securities account, you can download immediately and use it.
Download is done by logging into Monex Securities’ WEB, and from the top of the site
select “Foreign Stocks” - US Stock Trading,
then you can download.
By the way, Monex also offers Chinese stock trading.
To use TradeStation for foreign stocks (US stocks), you must
register profile information
download/install the tools
and login to the tools
This time, we will cover the downloading steps.
First, log into Monex Securities’ WEB, go to the top site menu,
“Foreign Stocks”-US Stocks.
Then, by following a few steps, you will reach the download site.
The steps include,
- US Stock Trading Information Usage Guidelines
- US Stock Pre-Contract Documents
to confirm.
Also, you will need to change your login information to set up US stock login details.
If there is a demand for US stock TradeStation,I would like to provide more details.
There are some differences, but the process is similar to Japanese stock TradeStation.

I intended to cover useful points even though simple.
Also, since there is a need to prepare TradeStation separately for US stocks, I also briefly introduced the download method.
