I started dating activities
Hello, this is Shimonoyama.
Tomorrow is the Rugby World Cup final match, isn’t it?
In this cup, the Japan national team was defeated by South Africa,
but they reached the quarterfinals, and based on Japan’s previous record,
it seems like a miracle-like result...
Have you heard of the work
“Brighton Miracle”?
It is a work描写 depicting the path of the Japan national rugby team
to defeat South Africa in the 2015 World Cup.
If you watch it, you’ll understand that
the victory over South Africa in 2015,
and the fact that they could remain to the quarterfinals this time are not miracles,
but outcomes achieved through effort.
If you do what you should do,
the results will surely follow,
as they say.
Through the last World Cups, Japan rugby popularity has skyrocketed,
and will continue to grow more and more.
In particular, female fans seem to be increasing a lot.
By the way, gentlemen, do you know
which sports are popular among women?
In other words, which sports do men who play
appeal to women? There is a study on this.
A study titled
“Sports that make the opposite sex attract”
was conducted with over 6,000 people.
The study examined what sports
men find attractive in women,
and what sports women find attractive in men.
The top sport that women find attractive in men was…?
=====================
“As for the results,
57 percent of women found men who climb mountains attractive,
and it became the most sexy sport from a woman's perspective.
Close behind were bungee jumping and jet skiing
and other extreme sports (56 percent),
football (52), and hiking (51).
The bottom were golf and aerobics,
with 13 percent and 9 percent respectively.”

=====================
From these results, it seems that sports that test
“courage” and “toughness” are popular with women.
Rugby fits that description perfectly.
In the West, more muscular men are favored,
but attitudes may differ between Japan and abroad,
and in Japan, men who play rugby are likely popular.
By the way,the sports that men find attractive in women are…
“Conversely, men consider women who do aerobics the most attractive (70 percent),
Yoga (65), gym workouts (64), following.
The bottom include golf (18), rugby (6),
bodybuilding (5).”

Opinions vary, but when a woman says,
“I’m doing yoga,”
it may indeed be good for a man’s appeal.

I started dating to marry.
=====================
Now, I write about things related to the opposite sex
in a newsletter, but…
Actually recently, I started dating to marry.
“What suddenly happened?”
You might wonder,
but there’s nothing unusual (laughs).
The trigger was a manga.
The manga “31-year-old Game Programmer’s Guide to Dating”
(Shinsho-kan)
made me think,
“I should try dating.”
That manga tells the story of a game otaku programmer dating
and is based on true events,
describing in detail what he did to get married.
For example, “You have to cast a wide net.”
And so, he logged into dating sites,
beaned out lists of women, and built a system that automatically sent emails to matches.
That episode is described.
Genious programmer indeed (laughs).
Other things include dieting, changing fashion,
and lots of other efforts.
Meeting once and being rejected happens often,
and sometimes, when you arrive at a meeting place
the other woman calls you and says your location,
and you’re stood up—
a very sad experience stacked up,
yet the episodes of continuing to act are chronicled.
Reading it,
I was inspired to think,
“I must take action as well.”
To be honest, I have not been strongly inclined to marry in the first place.
I don’t especially feel a strong urge to get married,
and I also don’t think,
“I don’t want to marry,” either—
that’s how it is.
“If a good connection comes, perhaps”
I think,
but I feel that doing nothing about marriage may be wrong,
so I think about taking action.
Doing nothing and saying,
“It’s okay not to marry”
feels a bit off.
By the way,
some people come to me saying,
“I want to trade stocks but
don’t know where to start.”
In this information-saturated world,
you may not know what is true
and may not be able to take the first step.
But there are many things you can do with little risk,
so if you don’t know where to start,
stop hesitating and begin at least one action.
That’s my belief,
“If you’re even a little curious, start right away.”
So I joined a dating party first.
=====================
If it doesn’t work within the year, I’ll quit.
=====================
So, how did it go?
I will summarize and report it later, so please stay tuned.
Readers of this newsletter are generally
probably married, I think.
Even those learning at Stock Academy seem to be mostly married members.
Therefore, I don’t know how many will be interested in dating stories,
but I plan to reveal the real-life dating world frankly (laugh).
I don’t intend to date forever until I can marry.
Until the end of the year, I will take as many actions as possible,
and if there is no match, I will set a boundary.
Continuing aimlessly isn’t good either.
I think the stock market is the same.
If you keep hoping today will rise,
tomorrow will rise,
you’ll never win.
In all things,
it is important to make a clear finish line,to set boundaries.
Today as well,
thank you for reading until the end.
Thank you.
