Bitcoin Circulation by Country and Future Outlook

Figure 1 and Figure 2 are graphs of Bitcoin circulation by country worldwide. The vertical axis of each graph indicates weekly Bitcoin volume, but please note that the scales differ between graphs. Turkey shows a sharp increase in Bitcoin circulation in 2017, but its share is small compared to global circulation.

As can be seen from Figure 1 and Figure 2, the UK and the US have had higher Bitcoin circulation since before 2014. While it is expected that Bitcoin circulation will increase in many countries going forward, at present the impact of the Bitcoin markets in the UK and the US is strong.
