Earning with an investment style focused on game-related stocks
Editorial staff: First, please tell us about your investment style.
YuzuI focus only on game-related stocks. In stock investing, there are returns and risks, and to minimize risk while obtaining stable returns, it is easier to avoid mistakes by investing in areas I am knowledgeable about. That is why I center my investments on game stocks, which I love and am good at. I have not experienced large losses with this method in the last couple of years.
Editorial staff: So you started with your favorite field.
YuzuThat's right. Stock investing requires long-term practice to improve, but most beginners end up losing and quitting. From the perspective of needing an easy entry to continue for a long time, I recommend concentrating investments on sectors related to one's occupation or hobbies.
Editorial staff: There are many game stocks; how do you decide where to invest?
YuzuI base my decisions on fundamentals—looking at company performance. The final timing to buy is determined by the chart, but I do not use technicals as the criterion for stock selection. First, I analyze the company and identify its strengths.
Editorial staff: Do you analyze from financial statements or products?
YuzuMy approach has two main components. One is assessing whether sales and operating profits are growing, i.e., the company's performance. The second is evaluating whether a new product release could push the stock price higher. For game stocks, even if the market has high expectations for a new product, it is often not yet reflected in the current price, so I aim for that.
