My Trading Schedule [Okachan-man]
To earn steadily, it is extremely important to use time effectively. In particular, FX markets move 24 hours, so whether you can gather information and analyze within a limited time makes a big difference in winning or losing. Here, Mr. Okachan Man kindly shared his daily schedule. Please use it as a参考.

Make tasks habitual and trade efficiently
I will introduce my trading time schedule (daily and weekly). Time management is very important for traders. Whether you are full-time or part-time, to trade efficiently you need to routine and habitualize tasks within your limited time.
① Start the day with market checks
Every morning I check, according to a checklist, world stock prices, currency strength, long-term interest rates of various countries, commodity prices, major statements, and news (Bloomberg, Reuters, NHK, Jiji Press, CNN, BBC). From this information I look for the day’s focal points.
- Is any price making a sharp move?
- Has a resistance level on the chart been broken?
- Are there any odd movements in stock prices or interest rates?
If there is any movement, I investigate the news centered on that country. Stock prices and interest rates, as well as commodity prices, often serve as leading indicators for the currency market, and when their correlations with the FX market break down, I see it as a trading opportunity.
If you think the checklist is too long, you can refer to my blog’s “Recording Room,” where I summarize key points daily. I also tweet about news that catches my eye, so please follow my Twitter as well.
