Three Traders Take Part to Raise the Level
MakabeThis project will follow the format of the “process to master trading” that I have established. Participants rotate over 2 to 3 months. It is aimed at beginners, those who want to become profitable, and those who simply want to learn from me, and I will guide them step by step. This is the first step. I will now present things in order, but first I will have you introduce yourselves.
I graduated from university in 2009 and joined a manufacturing trading company, and started FX that summer. The next year I began stock investing, and three years later I also started real estate. After about two years of this, I had spare time and opened Twitter to share knowledge, experience, and know-how. In April 2015 I started the “Investors' Financial Magazine,” which is delivered every Saturday and is now in its fourth year. My investment method and management approach are compiled in the e-book “Scheme Theory in Investment,” and last year I gave a lecture at the request of a securities company. This project is also intended to verify reproducibility. Participants were selected from those who contacted me on Twitter. Thank you and now could each of you introduce yourselves briefly?
Nakao: I am 36 years old, have a wife and child, and left my company in May. I am determined to study seriously to become a full-time trader, so I feel this project was meant to be.
Matsunaga: I started FX last September, and I lost over 1 million yen, so I want to work hard to recover. I do embroidery work personally. I have time available, so I want to become profitable in FX as well.
Kuroiwa: I’m from Kyushu. I have four years of market history, and my profits and losses have been unstable, so I wanted to retrain properly. I really wanted to participate this time, so I pushed through and got in.
MakabeMr. Kuroiwa writes to me several times a year, and I am impressed by his efforts in work and in life.
Kuroiwa: Thank you. Actually, I am a reader of Makabe’s newsletter. I first saw that his blog was making a stir.
MakabeI worked at an automobile factory, and I invested my salary overseas in casinos?
Kuroiwa: I also love that, and I’ve been reading it, but before that…
MakabeI teach investment to someone who has only 150,000 yen at age 34?
Kuroiwa: That’s right! It was a hot topic, wasn’t it?
MakabeAround the same time I started the newsletter, its access count topped 100,000. The underlying theme of both is the same: From worker to capitalist. Building funds from the wages earned through labor.
Kuroiwa: I’m deeply moved.
Matsunaga: Mr. Makabe, did you plan to do this from the start?
MakabeI contemplated doing it not to teach others, but for myself. I built an investment scheme that helped me ascend, and I believe this is the only way I can contribute to others.
Nakao: I want to rise as well. I’ll do my best.
Matsunaga: I’ll do my best too.
MakabeIt’s all right. If you go through the proper steps and acquire correct knowledge and skills, anyone can win. It’s the same as work. Now, let’s get to the main topic.
