Coin tosses reach 108 battles! AUD falls, swap down [Yu Kirisato]
Last week I was able to enter the 1-hour Heikin-Ashi trades twice, and there were movements in both the swap gains and the taking of positions. It felt like I really did FX properly—that was the sense of the week.

Unusually entered twice with Heikin-Ashi

■ Currency pair: EUR/USD
■ Time frame: 1-hour chart
■ Trading rules:
- Open EUR/USD chart at 23:00, enter only if the 1-hour Heikin-Ashi candle in the 22:00 hour is reversing
- If the candle is bearish turning bullish, buy; if bullish turning bearish, sell
- Take profit at +100 pips, stop loss at −50 pips with an OCO settlement
- Maximum positions held for buy and sell are one each. Do not hold multiple positions in the same direction
■ Backtest results over the past two years show a clean upward trend
On July 29, entered long but hit stop loss.
On August 1, entered long again and held the position into the following week.
【Hedged/Swap Carry and Taking】
On July 29, everyone’s FX swap receipts decreased from 30 to 25 yen….
DMMFX’s pay swap is 22 yen, so the difference is 3 yen. Daily profit is 165 yen.
This swap decrease is thought to be due to a drop in the AUD/JPY rate.
Furthermore, after writing the above manuscript, on August 1, DMMFX’s pay swap dropped from 22 to 21 yen, increasing the daily profit by 55 yen to about 220 yen, a small improvement.
Executing a Thorough Fund Transfer!
Thanks to the depreciation of AUD/JPY, the maintenance margin of my all-possible-cross account (Everyone’s FX) was in a pinch. It dropped to 240% on August 2.
According to the rule of transferring funds when it falls below 250%, I withdrew 500,000 yen from DMMFX and deposited it into the Everyone’s FX account. The maintenance rate recovered to 274%.
OCO orders were of course placed as well.
