Chart ① shows Bitcoin from January 2016 to August 2018. From January 2016 (470,000 yen) → January 2017 (1,100,000 yen) → January 2018 (11,500,000 yen), prices have been reaching new highs in recent years.
From late 2017, speculative funds entered and it was in a bubble state, so saying 1,550,000 yen is the fair price would be incorrect. In reality, after that, Bitcoin settled and hovered around about 700,000 yen. Even if the 2018 price is 700,000 yen, it recorded a rise of almost sevenfold from 110,000 yen in 2017 over one year.
