I am writing this during Japan's Obon holiday season. Recently, I promised to run a half-marathon with (and was compelled to by) a very distinguished businessman. As a result, I have gradually started training to increase my distance. Immediately after finishing 4 miles, I joined a 3-mile boot camp (basic physical fitness enhancement camp) for improved stamina. Unfortunately, I used muscles I don't normally use and became exhausted, so I took a proper nap that day.
This summer, despite the hot weather, negotiations have begun in Washington. So, what kind of commitments will this negotiation settle on?
