Find a Method That Fits Your Life and Personality
YoshidaIf you have been working hard but still aren’t getting results in FX, how should you approach FX going forward?
MuraiFirst, I think you need to re-check whether your current trading style truly suits you. Trading style and life style are almost the same, so a method that doesn’t fit your life won’t work well.
YoshidaA person who has work in the Japanese morning cannot realistically engage in carry trade, right?
MuraiYes. Also, you cannot sustain long-term adherence to ideas or beliefs that don’t align with your own mindset.
YoshidaIn other words, if it doesn’t fit your personality, it will be tough.
MuraiYes. No matter how excellent a trading method is, you won’t make a profit unless you repeat it many times over a long period in FX. Therefore, you need to choose a method that matches your values. Even a wonderful method can cause you to bend the rules or quit midway if there is a part deep in your heart that says, 'Something is off. I don’t think so.'
