Cryptocurrency market analysis [July 8 issue]

Bitcoin fell to 11 million yen last week

to the point of a decline, but

from there it quickly recovered in a short time with an upswing

that followed.

Bitcoin 4-hour chart

temporarily dropped to 1.05 million yen

after that, it rose to 1.3 million yen

and the range-bound trading continues at present.

Compared to the late 2017 peak,

the speed of the drop is rapid,

but the power to rebound upward from there

feels very strong.

From the current price, it is impossible to predict

which direction it will go.

There is no clear forecast.

If there is some major fundamental (economic news),

it could become a trigger for price rises,

but

historically Bitcoin prices tend to rise sharply and then

enter a period of consolidation and range-bound movement

thereafter.

Both experts and I have been saying that,

going forward the range may continue and rise toward the year-end.

This has been our expectation since before,

noting that in 2017 there was a substantial rise during Golden Week

and then a correction followed.
