A Room, a Shirt, and Mining
This is Miner Inn 2, the mining farm installed in the living room. I placed a motherboard on a small shelf bought at a 100-yen shop on top of cardboard. The black round thing you can see in the bottom-right corner is poison bait for cockroaches.
Due to adult circumstances, this diary is written and休んだ. First, a status report.
In mid-October, I ended up making mining rig No. 2. The excuse is that I had a spare motherboard and SSD. The reason should be enough.
As it gets colder, I tried placing it under the metal rack where the living room TV and PS4 are kept. I also expect it to serve as a heater in mid-winter. Of course, the GPUs are hanging from the metal rack with cable ties. The theme is, “Mining in daily life.”
As of now, the GPUs consist of one GTX1080 and two GTX1060 3GB, totaling three units (the RX570 shown in the photo has somehow been acting up, so I removed it).
The motherboard still has 17 empty slots. Recently, many people who abandoned mining are selling their GPUs on Mercari, so I feel I must mine them for them as well.
