Q26. How much capital should a beginner start with? (Hokkaido / 40s / Female)
A. For your first trade, 10,000 yen is OK. First, start by learning about FX
Prioritize surviving first!
What typically motivates beginners to start FX is money. The market is full of flashy advertisements like "easy profits!" or "100,000 yen becomes 100 million yen!" and the image of getting rich overnight sticks to FX, but the reality is that FX isn’t that easy. Of course, there are players who earn hundreds of millions, and that is part of the allure of FX. On the other hand, many traders lose their investment funds and are forced to exit. And among those who exit, novices are overwhelmingly represented.
Obviously, it’s a dream for a complete beginner to suddenly seize a large amount of money in FX. Without knowledge and experience, surviving in this world is impossible. Therefore, if you’re trading for the first time, I think a capital of 10,000 yen is enough. First, learn FX, and survive. If you survive properly and acquire knowledge and experience, then the turn to profit will come next.
