The updates have been spaced out, but we will summarize 9 trading days from September 18 to 27. On the 18th, the Bank of Japan hiked rates, causing a sharp rise in cross-yen pairs, and a total of 21 forward measurements across 3 products settled that day. On the 21st, there were additional settlements for 3 products, making the total realized profit/loss for FX3EA during this period +3,054 yen, with unrealized total moving from −85,777 yen to −31,583 yen, a reduction of 54,194 yen.
■Market during this period
On the 18th, the Bank of Japan decided to raise the policy rate by 0.25 percentage points to1.25%with a vote of 7-2 in favor. The rate hike was the first in three months since June and the new rate has been applied since September 24. Following the release at 11:54, the USD/JPY jumped from around 156.16–156.85, and during Governor Ueda’s press conference reached as high as 157.54. Cross-yen pairs posted significant gains of about 1 yen, and Forward Measurement’s Shiroyagi Evolution, kotukotu-EX, and Land Builder settled a total of 21 lots across 3 products. On the 19th it was a Friday, but with the weekend on the 20th (Saturday) and 21st (Sunday), the Tokyo market was closed for three consecutive days for Respect for the Aged Day (22nd) and National Holidays (23rd). (Including weekends, it was a 5-day holiday from the 19th to the 23rd). On the 23rd, the South African Reserve Bank (SARB) raised its policy rate by 0.25 points to 7.25%, in line with market expectations, and the South Africa August CPI year-over-year rose 4.4% (previous 4.3%, expected 4.5%). The U.S. September PMI for manufacturing and services also beat expectations in the same release, supporting a broad dollar rally. On the 24th, the Tokyo market reopened after the three-day holiday, and the Nikkei stock average rose to65,513.99yen (previous close +495.04, +0.78%). On the same day (U.S. time), President Xi Jinping and President Trump held a tête-à-tête for the first time in four months and agreed to extend the trade ceasefire by two months. Although issues such as semiconductor export controls and the Taiwan issue remained, the continued dialogue was well received, and on the 25th the Nikkei average rose to66,364.20yen (previous close +850.21, +1.30%), supported by AI/semiconductor-related stocks and ex-dividend season. TOPIX also rose to4,128.59(up +53.29, +1.31%). On the 25th, there were concerns about yen depreciation voiced by Trump during the U.S.-Japan leaders summit, and in the U.S.-Japan Treasury ministers' talks it was noted that the yen is undervalued. In the NY market, USD/JPY retreated from the high 158s to around 156.94, ending the week's trading. Yahoo! Finance at the time of retrieval (around 20:50 on the 27th) showed157.319(Open 158.920 / High 158.925 / Low 156.941). AUD/JPY was110.515, with August Australian employment stats exceeding expectations (+39,500 jobs vs +20,000 expected) but unemployment rising to 4.6%—a five-year high—pressuring the AUD. NZD/JPY was89.115, and ZAR/JPY was9.640. Compared with the levels before the Bank of Japan meeting on the 18th, ZAR/JPY rose from 9.578 to +0.062, AUD/JPY from 110.882 to −0.367, NZD/JPY from 89.177 to −0.062, and USD/JPY from 155.958 to +1.361. U.S. stocks: S&P 500 closed at7,743.41(previous close +39.28, +0.51%).

The balance and unrealized P/L are the values shown on the page as of 20:36–21:20 on September 27 (market closed), and the comparison target is the values shown at 20:35–20:45 on September 17 (the 21st issue).
①sheep6 AUD/JPY・NZD/JPY|M30|Long-only, up to 6 lots
During these 9 trading days, there were no settlements or add-ons. NZD/JPY long positions from August 21 (95.113, 0.01 lot), September 2 (92.846, 0.02 lot), and September 8 (90.578, 0.03 lot) were carried over. September’s daily calendar remains blank for the entire month. Because NZD/JPY was relatively flat, unrealized P/L worsened slightly from −17,939 yen to −18,029 yen by 90 yen. The balance stands at 1.0% with an actual maximum drawdown of 226,351 yen (26.62%), still below one-tenth of that level.
②くろやぎさん 進化版 AUD/JPY|M30|MA+BB contrarian, averaging & swap
This period’s most active EA. At 11:16 on the 18th, 7 lots (from Aug 28 to Sep 14, 112.432–112.439) were settled together, realizing +432 yen trading profit plus +1,881 yen swap for a total of +2,313 yen. This was closed after the BoJ rate hike announcement’s immediate reaction in AUD/JPY. After settlement, at 18:00 on the 18th, a new 0.03 lot position was opened at 111.919 yen, settled at 112.106 yen on the 21st 11:49 (+581). Continued averaging up kept adding positions: at 21st 20:00, 112.145 yen; 23rd 16:54, 111.377 yen (not reflected at issue #24, confirmed post-facto); 25th 16:00, 110.596 yen, all new 0.03 lot. Holding changed from 7 lots 0.21 lot on 9/17 to 3 lots 0.09 lot after these settlements and adds. AUD/JPY dipped at times, but lower average purchase price reduced unrealized to −9,476 yen from −40,236 yen, a 30,760 yen improvement. The top metrics show win rate 70.11% (2501/3567), profit factor 1.17, max drawdown 29.12% (1,245,840 yen).
③kotukotu-EX ZAR/JPY|H4|BB trend-following, averaging & swap
On the 18th, 7 lots were settled: at 6:37 4 lots (9.666 yen), at 13:19 3 lots (9.720 yen, one of which was opened on the same day at 06:37), yielding a trading profit of −2,478 yen plus swap +2,517 yen for a net +39 yen displayed on the calendar. On the 21st at 10:56, 3 more lots (Sept 7 at 9.769, Sept 18 at 9.680 and 9.638, all 0.21 lot) settled at 9.691, resulting in trading profit −294 yen plus swap +415 yen for a confirmed +121 yen. The 10 lots in fees totaled −1,470 yen, so the total account balance change was −1,310 yen. The “Actuals updating” text at the top of the forward history has been reduced from 7 lines to 3 lines since Sept 17, though the position size is not visible on the page; it suggests a significant reduction in holdings. Since the land yen was nearly flat during this period, unrealized P/L decreased from −27,602 yen to −4,078 yen, a 23,524 yen improvement. The balance change relative to the principal 1,000,000 yen is about 0.3%, and the actual max drawdown (202,772 yen, 41.61%) is about 2% of that level.

During this period there was 1 settlement and 4 new entries. On the 23rd at 0:00, the S&P 500 long from 7,599.81 with 0.01 lot was settled at 7,777.99 yen, realizing +$178.18 (fee of −$0.25). New entries were on the 21st (7,679.06), the 22nd (7,778.36), and two on the 25th (7,697.26 and 7,697.01), all at 0.01 lot. From 1 lot held as of 9/17, settlements and new entries brought holdings to 4 lots from 1. The account balance rose from $10,239.00 on 9/17 to $10,417.00 (+$178.00), while unrealized P/L worsened from −$2.00 to −$72.00 (−$70.00). Win rate 47.37% (as of 9/19), profit factor 1.63, max drawdown 38.91% (−$428.00).
⑤ランドビルダー Rand Builder ZAR/JPY|Swap+compounding・three-layer drawdown protection
On the 18th at 6:41, 7 lots were settled together (Aug 28 to Sep 14, 0.05 lot 5 lots and 0.01 lot 2 lots, all settled at 9.670–9.671) resulting in a calendar figure of −37 yen after adding swap +513 yen to the −550 yen trading profit. Fees were 0.05 lot ×1 = −35 yen and 0.01 lot ×1 = −7 yen, totaling −189 yen for 7 lots, making the total account balance change −226 yen. At 10:56 on the 21st, 3 more lots opened at 9.689–9.691 with 0.05 lot each, settled at 9.689 or 9.691, confirming a +395 yen change after minus fees (including 3 lots) +500 yen (no swap). The combined change for the 18th and 21st was +169 yen in the balance. Parallel to settlements, buying on dips continued, with 9/21 11:48 9.677 and 9/23 19:51 9.638 (not reflected at issue 24; post-facto reflection) opening new 0.05 lot positions. Holding changed from 8 lots 0.53 lot on 9/17 to 10 lots 0.63 lot after settlements and new entries. Unrealized P/L improved from −22,632 yen to −13,467 yen as land yen stayed flat. The MONITOR panel's “Today / this month / cumulative” realized P/L field showed +0 on the 9/20 acquisition due to a display anomaly, but now shows +1,458 yen and 75.0% (8 times), matching the account history's totals (18th +414 yen +21st +1,044 yen = +1,458 yen).

A total of 29 settlements occurred during this period. The peak occurred on the 18th, where cross-yen rallies after the BoJ rate hike led to 21 settlements across three products (7 each). On the 21st, additional settlements occurred for 3 products (くろやぎさん進化版 1, kotukotu-EX 3, Rand Builder 3) totaling 7 settlements, and on the 23rd, one settlement for Index Seven. FX3EA’s realized profit of +3,054 yen largely accumulated from the settlements on the 18th and 21st. Sheep6 also had no settlements during this period. By Sept 27, unrealized total of −31,583 yen had improved by 54,194 yen from the −85,777 yen on Sept 17, with the breakdown: sheep6 −18,029 yen, くろやぎさん進化版 −9,476 yen, kotukotu-EX −4,078 yen. Settlements significantly reduced holdings, particularly for くろやぎさん進化版 and kotukotu-EX, which increased holdings via further dips to 3 lots 0.09 lot. Index Seven increased holdings from 1 to 4 lots with 1 settlement and 4 new entries. Real account Rand Builder also settled on the 18th and 21st, with EA2 settling 8 lots for +1,458 yen; unrealized improved from −57,346 yen to −31,939 yen, a 25,407 yen improvement.This period also shows no abnormality across all EAs.
