The World Standard is MT5. What should we introduce to Japanese traders?
"Is it okay to keep buying MT4 tools in the future?"
Traders who have such questions are probably increasing soon, aren’t they?
Recently, I sent a slightly more in-depth email to the affiliates who promote FX products.※ An affiliate refers to influencers and bloggers who introduce products on blogs, videos, and social media.
Around the world, the migration from MT4 to MT5 is progressing.

On the other hand, in Japan MT4 is still very much active. There are assets like EA and indicators purchased so far, so a transition is not easy. Moreover, MT5-compatible products are not yet sufficiently available.
This is a difficult issue not only for traders but also for those who promote products.

? Affiliates and sellers also evolving together
In FX product sales, the seller creates the product and affiliates introduce it to traders.
Of course, sales performance and commissions are important for affiliates. However, that alone won’t sustain long-term.

“Is this a good product for traders?”
“Will it still be usable with confidence in the future?”
Many affiliates are considering these questions as they promote.
Seller, affiliate, and trader—though their roles differ, there is a shared point: delivering a good product and having people use it for a long time.
That’s why, as MT4 to MT5 migration progresses, those promoting must make difficult judgments as well.

?Introducing MT4 products isn’t bad. But…
MT4 won’t stop working immediately. There are excellent MT4-compatible tools, and there’s value in the environments you’ve used for years.
However, worldwide MT5 is overtaking MT4 in trading volume.
In such a situation, continuing to tell newcomers “MT4 compatible, so it’s recommended” without nuance starts to feel awkward.

Especially for high-priced tools, it’s even more problematic. If after purchase you learn “actually MT5 is not supported,” it’s not a simple issue for traders.
Of course, it isn’t inherently wrong to promote a proven MT4-only high-priced tool. However, knowing the world is moving toward MT5, will you actively continue to promote products that only support MT4?
Affiliates themselves may need to think about that.
“Because it sells, I promote it” isn’t the only consideration; “What would I truly recommend to my current customers?”
That perspective is becoming increasingly important.

?MT4 → MT5, and then MT5 + AI
What will become important may not be a simple “MT5 compatibility” alone.
MT5 has a new possibility: an AI assistant.
And next, we plan to add a system to integrate live trading with MT5 AI assistant.
Trader × AI ×One-Click FX MAX.
From MT4 to MT5. And MT5 + AI. As the trader’s environment changes, of course, the tools that support it will also change.
