【Large-scale project】Will 1,000,000 yen become 100,000,000 yen? — Automated trading challenge stream, starting Monday
Starting next Monday (September 7), we will launch a new broadcasting project. Named “1,000,000 yen → 100,000,000 yen Challenge.” We will fund a dedicated account with 1,000,000 yen and, focusing solely on compounding operation of a new EA named “Crimson Dragon (Guren-ryū)” that has not been disclosed anywhere yet, track how far this capital can grow over many years. To be clear from the outset, this is not a promise that it will definitely reach 100,000,000 yen. Rather, one of the aims of this project is to honestly show the difficulty involved.
While continuing the Shōkinryū broadcasts, many people have asked us, “If you use compounding, at what pace would the funds grow? I’d like to see real examples.” We can show backtest numbers, but showing the actual accumulation of funds, increasing the lot sizes with compounding, enduring drawdowns, and sometimes deciding to retreat, has not been fully demonstrated until now.
Additionally, this project is the first time the new EA “Crimson Dragon” will be deployed in actual market conditions. It is an EA that has not been sold anywhere and starts with zero real-world performance. Rather than showing finished results, we want you to see, as it happens, how a newborn EA actually behaves.
From 1,000,000 yen to 100,000,000 yen is simply 100x. We will share, in advance, a rough guide on how many years it would take at various annual rates with compounding.
- If the annual rate is 20%, about 25 years (a solid level for prudent asset management)
- If the annual rate is 50%, about 11 years (few individuals achieve this)
- If the annual rate is 100%, about 6–7 years (continuation itself is extremely difficult)
- If aiming for 150–200% annually, about 4–5 years, but the risk of collapse increases accordingly
The Crimson Dragon we will use has neither backtest nor real-world results yet. It starts from a completely different premise from Shōkinryū, which has 11 years of track record; this is effectively a “start from zero.” In this project, we will honestly disclose the annual rate when compounding is actually configured, without exaggeration. The 100 million yen target is a symbolic long-term goal.
In this project, only Crimson Dragon will be used until the end. No other EAs will be added. When funds reach certain levels, the review criteria involve Crimson Dragon’s own settings (compounding base funding, maximum number of positions, etc.), not the number of EAs. We will not simply try to grow; as funds grow, the weight of “protection” will increase.
- 1–3 million yen: keep initial settings and accumulate real operating data
- 3–10 million yen: adjust compounding base funding and maximum positions based on actual worst drawdown
- 10–30 million yen: begin relocating a portion of profits to a separate account
- 30 million to 100 million yen: further tune settings to emphasize “not losing” over “gaining”
The 1,000,000 yen invested in this project is surplus funds with no impact on daily living. We intend to honestly show scenes where funds significantly decrease along the way as part of the project. It is not a guaranteed path to 100 million yen; in fact, the possibility of not achieving it is higher.
Crimson Dragon is a newly developed EA with no real-world performance yet. Before putting real money in, we will conduct verification on MT5 hardware and perform simple tests, but there may still be issues that only become apparent in actual market conditions and real trades. We will be more cautious than with mature EAs.
In broadcasts, articles, and across SNS, we will not say things like “certainly profitable” or “absolutely reach the goal.” We hope viewers will enjoy this project not as investment advice, but as a long-term content piece following compounding and the real-world debut of the new EA.
