A story about automating supportaji (support)

This is a story that came up when I ran into a former pro trader who had helped me in the past, and we casually talked about our recent updates.


He had tried various things and, in the end,there is an “answer” in price movements, he said.


Any indicator ultimately incorporates past price movements.


Then,for short-term decisions in scalping or day trading, it is particularlyimportant to look at the nearest support and resistance, right?, that kind of obvious point, but.


Drawing this line is pretty exhausting, isn’t it…




“I absolutely refuse a life where I just draw lines all my life!!”


I once snapped at him in that way, which in hindsight is embarrassing..



With that in mind,I briefly introduced the automation of support/resistance.

When I showed this tool to the aforementioned senior, I received an unexpected critique.



“Because past charts that are no longer needed don’t leave traces, the visuals aren’t cluttered either.”



…Indeed, that might be the case.

It was a rediscovery I hadn’t noticed until now..




What would happen if I drew lines on both higher and lower timeframes manually?

How does it look?


The macro view and the micro view do not interfere with each other, so I think you can focus on trading.


It is also clear where the line starts from, so you can intuitively sense its freshness.


If you want to keep the higher-timeframe line on the lower timeframe, we offer a separate option, butyou don’t have to do such fine-tuning—one click switches it, so for now it’s not inconvenient at all.


One drawback.


The product name is “Automated Support/Resistance Display,” which is somehow clumsy (laugh).


I couldn’t think of a better name.
