■Today's Market

USD/JPY isaround 9.84(vs prev day +0.22%) rebounded from the drop after the CPI miss yesterday. With inflation cooling, expectations for an additional rate hike in September are weakening, but price-wise it was a day of recovery. The stock indices saw the Nikkei Average rise by 890 to 66,216, while on the U.S. side higher interest rates and selling in AI and semiconductors weighed on the market, with the S&P 500 continuing to consolidate near the highs. The environment is unfavorable for the buy-only Index Seven.
