From July 29 (Wed) to August 9 (Sun), operations will be limited to Shoukinryuu. Goldmine AI, Enmusubi AI, Tsugatsuki, and EA Verification Lab will be on break for both delivery and operation during this period.
Gold rose into a high range not seen in about a month and a half, oscillating between a rise toward around 4,300 yen and a correction toward around 4,250 yen. This volatile movement is underpinned by expectations of an oil price drop due to U.S.–Iran accords, and diminished inflation concerns and expectations of further rate hikes by the Fed. The stock market also rallied significantly, continuing a risk-on environment.
The USD/JPY stayed around the 157 level, roughly sustaining the rebound since the U.S.–Japan coordinated foreign exchange intervention on 8/1. EUR/USD held around 1.155, in the high territory not seen since June 16. With U.S. jobs data (NFP) due on the weekend of 8/7, positions are likely to be adjusted.
