Gold began to roar—the era of the Rising Gold Dragon is now
To be honest. Watching Gold's moves over the past few days, my heart raced for the first time in a while.$4,000 range fought to $4,200 in just a few daysThe relaxation of Iran tensions, dollar softness, and the post-Japan-US coordinated intervention dollar-yen stall — multiple factors are converging, and Gold is clearly moving upward now. For buy-specialized and averaging-in Shōkinryū, there’s never been such a favorable market.
Since the start of August, Gold has been consolidating around $4,038–$4,052, then with Iran tensions easing and the dollar softening as a tailwind, it moved up to test higher levels. Crossing the $4,080 range, today it vaulted to the $4,200 range. Each time geopolitical risk recedes and the dollar weighs heavy, Gold rises — this pattern has repeated neatly in recent days.
The weekend also holds a major event: the US Non-Farm Payrolls (NFP) data, but for now, the star of the market is clearly Gold. The price level to watch as resistance around $4,150–$4,200 even comes into view.
Shōkinryū is a buy-only averaging-in EA that buys the dips and sells on rallies. This design shines in markets that bounce back after a dip or even test higher. In recent days, Gold has repeatedly dipped and recovered, overall trending higher. Each dip offers a chance to buy, and the subsequent rise brings opportunities to close positions — Shōkinryū is currently operating in such an ideal rhythm.
Of course, if the market were to fall and never recover, there is still risk of unrealized losses. There’s no guarantee that trends will continue in the same direction forever, and this tailwind could end at any time. Still, captured in this moment, there’s no doubt this is a favorable market for Shōkinryū.
All three days ended with gains, despite intraday fluctuations. The Forward Management Account (real-trade.tech public) grew from an initial 1,000,000 JPY to the 3,000,000s range in four months since starting operations. Among these four months, there were periods with unrealized losses exceeding 1,000,000 JPY, but in current tailwinds, the growth pace accelerates — this is the honest reality of Shōkinryū running on compound auto-lot.
I wrote “The era of Shōkinryū has come” boldly, but this is only my impression as a developer about the current market conditions. No one knows how long Gold's uptrend will last or when it will turn to a correction. Past performance and recent gains do not guarantee the same pace in the future. Now that tailwinds are blowing, please review risk management and fixed-lot settings carefully.
