Development, streaming, and replying. I'm doing it all by myself.
When asked, “With this scale, you must be running this with a team, right?”, the answer is: not actually. Shōkinryū, Endomusubi AI, Futatsuki, Kinmyaku AI, this investment-navi article, YouTube live streams, and responses to customers—all of it, written, tested, spoken, and replied to by me alone up to this point. Today, I’m honestly sharing the reality.
To avoid miscommunication, here is a list of what I actually do.
- EA design and coding: conceive the logic and write programs in MQL5.
- Verification and optimization: 11 years of backtests, robustness checks across shifted periods, parameter tuning.
- Daily market analysis and report writing: study the day’s market and write the Daily Report and Investment Navi article.
- YouTube live streaming: discuss the day’s状況 while showing the actual trading screen.
- Customer support: personally responding to Gogojan messages and community one by one.
- Listing, review handling, and updates: from creating product pages to Gogojan review handling and bug fixes.
When lined up like this, it may seem overly ambitious even to me. But this isn’t about showing off scale; it’s simply the fact that “for now, I’m doing all of this by myself.”
If efficiency were the only goal, it would be faster to split tasks into validation, support, etc. Still, there is a reason I insist on doing it alone.
The person who understands the EA logic the best is the person who wrote it. Many customer questions relate to how the code behaves. When you split tasks among people, the direct, first-hand information about “how it actually works” becomes diluted. If possible, it’s better for the author to answer directly, even if it takes a bit more time.
The same goes for daily reports and live streams. If someone else simply relayed numbers, that would be easy. But only the author who designed it can explain “why these numbers came out” and “how much of the drawdown is within expectations.” It’s demanding, but I won’t compromise on that.
It isn’t always rosy. As a one-person operation, there are clear limits.
- I may not reply to inquiries immediately. This is not a 24/7 support desk.
- Developing new features and updates takes longer than a multi-person team.
- Because market analysis, verification, publishing, and replies are handled by one person, busy periods may have gaps.
It’s easy to claim “full support” by concealing these limits, but I don’t intend to misrepresent reality. Being small sometimes means things get inspected more carefully, and other times it takes longer. I want to honestly convey both sides.
- Currently, I do all EA development, verification, report writing, live streams, and customer support by myself
- Not dividing tasks is because I prioritize having the person who understands the EA logic best answer directly
- On the other hand, there are limits to speed and scope of responses, which I also honestly acknowledge
- Even if it takes more effort, I intend to continue with the author writing and speaking directly, for the time being
For now, I am alone, but what I wrote here is something I want to keep intact even if the scale changes: that the person answering never becomes diluted. For questions and feedback, feel free to contact Asahina Lab anytime.
